Lou Bergholz

Founder * Creative Catalyst * Design Guru

Lou, founder of Edgework Consulting, brings to his consulting work a rare blend of design expertise, professional consulting presence and truly engaging and exciting facilitation. Lou’s passion for learning stems from years of work on the front lines of education and organizational development, across the USA and in Israel, South Africa, Malawi, Thailand, Ireland, and beyond.  Lou has worked in the classroom as well as in non-traditional educational settings, with populations ranging from executives from major corporations to young adults with life threatening illnesses.

What truly distinguishes Lou from other similarly skilled consultants is his unwavering ability to place the end client at the center of his design.   Lou is absolutely committed to creating learning and change-environments that are dynamic, vibrant and results-focused.   Lou’s extensive content knowledge base in the realm of organizational development, innovation, leadership and team development is a direct result of his near obsession with learning and growth. The breadth and depth of Lou’s experiences allow him to offer perspectives that very few people can.

   

Tracey Britton

Director of Business Development * Influencer of Social Change * Paddle Board Master

Tracey Britton comes to Edgework with more than 10 years of experience in training, program design, managing teams, and diversity and inclusion work. Tracey balances an extensive background in facilitation, and community engagement with a unique ability to communicate genuinely and make a lasting impression. Her professional experience began as a college soccer coach, where she helped lead Division 1 Syracuse University to the top 25. Upon relocating to the Boston area in 2005, Tracey entered the youth development and higher education arenas, focusing on sustainability, partnerships, staff development, and cultural competency. Most recently Tracey was designing and implementing programs and trainings for the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity at Northeastern University, excelling at creating programs that support faculty, staff, administrators, students and local residents.

Tracey is a graduate of the executive leadership program, Lead Boston, carries a Certification in Civil Mediation and is underway on a Certificate in Diversity Management from Cornell University. A graduate of University of Buffalo with a dual degree in Psychology and Health and Human Services, Tracey also holds a Masters of Science from Ithaca College.

   

Bill Cuff

Global Citizen * Thought Leader * Compassionate Mentor

Bill has designed and delivered many programs in leadership and team development for private, public and non-profit groups. Bill was a volunteer for the Peace Corps in West Africa, a guidance counselor and an administrator for 10 years with an Alternative High School in New Hampshire, which, during his tenure, became a state model school.  Bill currently teaches in two colleges in New Hampshire.  He’s returned to school 4 times for degrees, including a Ph D, and he encourages others on their own paths to lifelong learning. He is often asked to do presentations on his research on the characteristics of courageous people.

Perhaps most importantly, Bill is a founding member of Danny’s Team, an all volunteer service group located in southern NH which, over the past 18 years, has instituted over 250 service projects working with a variety of disadvantaged groups in New England, Nicaragua and Kenya.  He has had the rare opportunity to see the world from many sides and tries hard to share what he has gleaned from these experiences.

   

Meghan Erkel

Administrative Assistant * Passionate Supporter of Youth * California Dreamer

Meghan Erkel is the newest member of the Edgework team hailing all the way from the golden state of California. She spent the last year in Maseru, Lesotho interning with Kick4Life, in conjunction with the Grassroot Soccer Internship, working as the Program Coordinator of their vulnerable young women’s program, Women4Women. Meghan was able to see firsthand the impact Edgework’s sport for development curriculum has on fighting against the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and developed a passion for African culture and social change. She brings her experience and passion for child and international development to the team, and is excited to have a significant impact in the global community.

Meghan earned a B.A. in English from Rice University in 2011, where she played in goal and served as a two-year captain for the Rice Owls Division I Women’s Soccer Team. She has a passion for life with a compassionate, empathetic spirit. Meghan is crazy enough to think she can lend a hand in changing the world, and won’t stop until she does.

   

Amy Goldfarb

Change Agent * Inspiring Role Model * Seeker of Personal and Organizational Truths

Amy Goldfarb is an executive coach, team development consultant, actress and improvisational theater teacher whose uncanny ability to blend humor and depth creates extraordinary experiences for her clients. It is not only that she creates an honest learning environment that both challenges and supports individuals and groups as they work on all aspects of organization health, but that she does it from a strong foundation of psychological understanding and curiosity.

Amy works with individuals and groups on leadership development, relationship building skills, presentation skills, and coaching skills. When you work with Amy you learn at an unprecedented level, because her presence is an inspiration to both challenge yourself to examine what you already know, and to give you the courage to ask yourself and others tough questions. She has wowed audiences at American Express, The Hearst Corporation, Staples, Fidelity Investments, and Merrill Lynch, to name a few. Amy has a Bachelors degree in comparative literature, and a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College.

   

Margie Gozdiff

Margie Gozdiff offers over 20 years of experience in, coaching, facilitation, sales and training.  She creates an honest learning environment that both challenges and supports individuals and groups as they work on leadership development, relationship building, presentation skills, and coaching skills.  Margie has worked with organizations such as Fleet Bank, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Fidelity Investments, J Jill, APAC Customer Service, Citizens Bank, Merrill Lynch, MIT, and Tufts University. Her training and facilitation expertise and experience are grounded in the essential principles of learning and human development.

Margie is passionate about helping people be their best.  Her goal is to help her participants be more confident, productive, motivated and creative in their roles.  Her energy, enthusiasm for learning and her unwavering commitment to engaging participants in a lively and informative day of learning is what differentiates her from other facilitators.  She brings thoughtful discussions and relevant activities to the classroom allowing participants to connect learning concepts to their world.

   

Emily Helm

Having worked in entrepreneurial and growing organizations for nearly 20 years, Emily's talents lie in leveraging the diverse skills and expertise of a team toward the pursuit of a common goal. She transforms the complex into the high performing. From 2004-2012, Emily worked at MetroLacrosse – an urban sports-based youth development organization in Boston, MA – first as managing director and then as president & CEO. Emily’s prior work experience includes five years at a web-based start-up company in a variety of roles ranging from product development to sales and account management. In her early career, Emily was a college career counselor and lacrosse coach, and coordinated special events at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American Art.

Emily earned an undergraduate degree in American Studies at Hamilton College and a Master of Education degree from The University of Vermont. Emily also completed the Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She has been a resident of Boston for more than 15 years, and is a tried and true New England sports fan.

   

Jessica Lipsey

As part-time Project Manager for Edgework, Jessica Lipsey combines compassion and passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives with a fierce work ethic and attention to detail. Jessica is a critical part of the “engine” that fuels Edgework’s services. Her weekly “to do” list includes: leading client focus groups, conducting research, contributing to curriculum and program designs, and business development. Jessica is a true people-person and is expert at cultivating enduring and meaningful relationships.

Jessica has been working in the social services field for over 20 years providing case management to both children and adults, as well as to three children of her own. She is devoted to her work and always brings humor, charisma and an infectious positive energy to her coordination duties.

   

Chris Olex

Chris has been training and facilitating groups for more than a decade.  Chris specializes in team and personal development and obsessively strives to meet client goals through thoughtful and creative design, facilitation of powerful conversations and a focus on fostering a genuine and rich learning experience.   Chris thrives on the variety of client situations and objectives and in creating new connections and “a-ha’s” for the groups she works with.  She consistently receives high praise for her abilities to help participants “see” one another in new and productive ways, to grow relationships, and extend current bridges of communication...and participants have a blast doing it!

Chris has worked with such clients as: Pfizer, Columbia Business School, Jetblue, and McKinsey Consulting.   When engaging with a client project, Chris uses a variety of methods to make this learning possible – whether it is through experiential simulations, probing assessments, or challenging discussion – Chris wants her participants to think…and to think differently, about their current reality, and about new perspectives that can improve their work life, their relationships, and their ability to be a leader in their own life.  

   

Perrin (Reggie) Pearse

Reggie brings over twenty years of experience, within organizations and as a consultant, to his design and delivery of strategic sales training, teambuilding, and leadership development. He is passionate about helping people be their best, so they are more productive, motivated and creative in their roles. Reggie has the unique ability to blend humor and high emotional intelligence, with incredible focus and attention to organizational rigor and bottom line results. 

Reggie has worked as a facilitator with organizations including Bank of America (formerly Fleet Bank), EMC, Caliper Life Sciences, Fidelity Investments, Fast Company and the Boston Architectural College. He has a BA in Management, and is an accredited emotional intelligence facilitator with the Institute for Health and Human Potential.
